Sign of ADHD? It's all in - and about The Way.
Second basic:- it is not what you are in life, but the way you live it. This is a statement that needs to be explained. What I mean is: whether you sweep the floor or not is the issue, but how you do that, if you do it. It is your decision to do the floor or not. But how you think about that and how you communicate in this, that’s what counts.
Symbolic and not symbolic.
Of course is this example a little one, the meaning is pure symbolical in one way. And in the other way not at all!In my life I learned it is essential how one acts. What you do is less important. Of course: if you want to be a pilot, than it has no use to learn knitting. Although knitting is a nice way to relax after a heavy flight If you are in a position that you have all you want: congratulations! You are a great example for mankind. But what counts more how you live your life. I don’t mean what your profession is, but how you get up in the morning, what you say or don’t say to your spouses, your dog and so on. And how you talk to your colleges, or don’t talk that much. Even this last can be experienced in two ways. We all know people who don’t talk that much and are pretty company. And we know also people who say not much and we feel uncomfortable in their neighbourhood.
Secret?
What is that? The ‘secret factor’, the unknown? My belief is that we can know this factor. In core we use this, every day, hour, minute even second. And it is how we think. Everything we are and what others see on the oust side, shows your inside. It is said in some traditions that what others see (and what you see yourself in the mirror) is the best of what you are. What do you think of this? Did you ever realize this or even thought in this way? If you do it will maybe change your attitude. Or maybe not, because you’re completely satisfied with yourself. And when you are, it comes really out of your inner self, you will see much content people around.
Very short story.
Recently I read a short story of a young man who came in a gathering of alternative people. He sat down near an old wise man and asked: “What kind of people come here, are they friendly and nice?”. The old man replied with a question: “The town where you come from, how are the people there? The young man said: “They are not kind at all, they are unfriendly and selfish”. The old man: “Here are the people also”.Short later came another person to the old man with the same question. The old man replied in the same way and this time the younger person said: “In my town the people are very friendly and helpful for each other, it is nice living there”. “Here are the people also very nice and friendly”, the old wise man said.
Quality of life.
It is in this way that we make our lives, day after day. And the good news is, that we can change that, too! Stronger: if we make a very little change on a given moment and we persist in that, greater effects will show.In relation to the ADHD-topic: often helps the fact that we know the cause of our behaviour. It is the brain chemistry, –electricity or the genes. That is one part of the story. The other side - I know this of my very own experience – is that we can create our lives in a very large portion. By how we look on the world around and ourselves. And it is that what we are fully responsible for, just like every adult human in the world. Exactly this is what the quality of our life determines and we make that by our own!
